Bishop Thomas K. Gorman Catholic School is a Catholic, Liberal Arts, college preparatory school for grades 6 through 12. Admission Criteria

Bishop Gorman is a Catholic Christian school faithful to the Sacred Scripture (the Bible), the Catholic Christian tradition, and the authentic Magisterial teaching of the Roman Catholic Church. While the school welcomes students of all religious traditions, the student and the parents/guardians must respect our Catholic Identity.

Bishop Gorman Catholic School does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, color, or national origin. In addition, the school does not discriminate against students on the basis of disability in compliance with section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 USC Section 794) in the admission of students, employment of personnel, administration of educational policies, athletics, or other school programs.

Bishop Gorman may use the following criteria in making admissions decisions:

Current school record
Standardized testing
Student's academic and/or career goals
Student's discipline record
High School Placement Test (HSPT) or another placement test

All students new to Bishop Gorman or seeking re-admission will be admitted on academic and disciplinary probation for one full semester. Any serious violation of the academic or discipline codes will be subject to a review by the school administration; the student may subsequently receive an extension of the probation or dismissal.
